One quick note - For Sale - many quality gold-trimmed and hard to find Shawnee pieces. Contact djba@dalainc.com This is a longtime collector, not a dealer. (Doug)
The holidays are rushing upon us, I hope some of you have your shopping done, I have yet to start!!!! I did buy myself two early Christmas presents. Has been a long time since I added something to my collection. A collector friend had some gold Bo Peeps for sale - two I have never seen so couldn't resist. There are also some nice Gold Granny Ann's if any of you are interested or would like to do some shopping for the collectors in your life.

Another idea for newer collectors is Pam Curran's Shawnee Pottery Encyclopedia. We are getting more and more inquiries about various Shawnee pieces from people who are just beginning to collect. While all the books on Shawnee are helpful, Pam's is so inclusive in so many diversified areas of Shawnee that it is a must have reference book for a serious collector. So many of us long time collectors met during the years Pam had her "snail mail"
newsletter going - it forged many lifelong friendships during those years as well as stimulated an addiction of so many of us. Just this month after close to 25 years of a close friendship Sandy Ernst and I finally met in person and spent an afternoon visiting. Have to confess with a house full of Shawnee what picture did Sandy take??? My large Brush McCoy frog sprinklers!!!! I really teased her about that.
Over the years we both got sidetracked on Kliban the cat as well. Once a collector, always a collector. I guarantee she will find a frog before long!!!
Hoping everyone will have a wonderful holiday with their loved ones, cherish our times together with friends and family.
