Shawnee Tales
It's time to add another
I've given Lin off again this January. I think she is beginning to expect it. She will be back in February.

From Lin - One thing I wanted to tell the readers is Joyce Swanson passed on Dec 23 - her daughter called me two days ago to tell me. She was an avid collector and we had some wonderful treks to the flea markets in southern Calif. The earthquake that happened on Martin Luther King Day years back she had lids fall off high shelves on to carpet and no breakage other than a few small pieces, I remember sending her a gold Polynesian head vase to replace the one she lost.

A funny story, I would drive over for the Long Beach market - one time we were there together when we spotted a dealer we both knew from Phoenix - I always checked their booth and they would notify me about Shawnee, well, this time they pull out miniature gold and decals figurines of the animals I
was trying to assemble a set of and I find out they have been taking them to Calif  for Joyce!!!!  Of course neither of us knew about the other knowing the dealers but here I had to drive to Calif to find out why they were no figurines showing up in Arizona!!
  Until next month.

We had two readers recognize the elves in last month's newsletter. Appears they are from a company by the name of Gilner.
