The facts:
Creamer 5" tall x 6" wide including handle, marked 1028  USA (incised)
Covered Sugar 5 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide, marked Great Northern USA  (embossed) 1031 (incised)
The numbers on the Great Northern cookie jars are 1025 & 1026.
There is a matching teapot, marked Great Northern Railroad (nasty twist huh)
The light color is more cream than white. The brown most closely matches the roof of the cottage cj.

The questions:
Were the Creamer & sugar made by Shawnee?
Was the teapot made by Shawnee?
What is the Great Northern Railroad connection?
I was asked the question, "Is there a Great Northern Pottery?"
Have you seen any of these pieces?
What do you think?

5 -11 - 03  My own thoughts are Great Northern was a jobber that contracted a pottery to make a product for their customers. Still doesn't answer the question of who made these pieces though  :-)
