An old white Shawnee glaze, prone to crazing of this type

A crazing (stained) common to early Shawnee glazes used on Snowflake pieces. Sometimes  a dishwasher will remove discoloration, but not the crazing.

Different glazes craze differently. Below is an example of the typical Weller crazing.
