This lady has raised a lot of speculation among collectors. She has been named "Raincatcher" by a collector that thought she was Shawnee right from the start. She is marked with the Ohio Porcelain Co. logo, but we also know the Zanesville potterys shared jobs. The collectors I know that have had the piece in hand tend to agree she was produced by Shawnee. The mold and glazes certainly say Shawnee. I've seen a bronze figure all but identical, dated 1914, slightly smaller than the pottery piece.
